ROCKBOND EPOXY (LM) MORTAR (RB ELMM) is a specially formulated, three part, epoxy pitch mortar system which consists of a base, hardener and fine filler. When the three components are mixed, a black thixotropic paste is produced which cures to produce a strong and flexible material which is resilient to movement, shock and vibration. The epoxy mortar is used in situations where a low modulus material is required. The mortar is supplied in 20.2kg/10 litre packs and has a shelf life of 2 years.

Special Properties
- Pre batched, pre packed, and ready to use.
- Quickly and easily mixed, worked, placed and finished.
- Forms a strong bond to concrete, steel, wood and other construction materials.
- Cures to produce a flexible resilient material which is strong and durable.
- Flexes in sympathy with moving substrates, surfaces, joints and voids.
- Remains tensile at temperatures below 0ºC.
- Resistant to aqueous solutions, chemicals, acids and oils.
- Economical, user friendly and safe to use.
Uses
- For use in situations where a strong bonding, flexible material is required.
- To fill cracks, voids, holes and gaps in concrete and steel exposed to movement due to stress and vibration.
- As a joint filler in concrete floors, slabs, precast concrete and steel.
- For use on steel and wooden surfaces and floors subjected to tension and flexion.
- Whenever stress, thermal or moisture movement is a problem in a crack, joint or on steel or wooden structures.
- As a flexible tile adhesive for bedding and bonding tiles to steel and wood.
- Patch repairs to wooden surfaces, walls, furniture and floors.
- Elastic requirements during cold weather or low temperature situations.
