Rockbond Miscellaneous Products, RB MP
Rockbond polypropylene fibres make wet mixes cohesive and set mixes crack resistant. Steel fibres make concrete strong in tension, wear resistant and durable. Rockbond Pigments give cement colour, make concrete look good and ascetically pleasing. Quick, simple, effective and easy to use mixing equipment is supplied by Rockbond to mix cementitious powders with water. Various grout and resin injection guns are available, and spiked rollers are used to level and smooth flooring materials and screeds.

ROCKBOND POLYPROPYLENE FIBRES 6mm (RB PPF6) are strong, inert, monofilament polymer fibres specially designed to improve the plastic and hardened properties of cementitious materials. Mortars, renders and concretes are more workable and cohesive when plastic, and flowing materials harden to produce products with greater flexural and tensile strengths. The fibres are also used to reduce or eliminate problems associated with drying out, shrinkage and cracking. The fibres are supplied in 1kg water dispersible packs, and have an indefinite shelf life.
ROCKBOND ALKALI RESISTANT GLASS FIBRE 6mm (RB ARGF6) are strong, inert, monofilament glass fibres specially designed to improve the plastic and hardened properties of cementitious materials. Mortars, renders and concretes are more workable and cohesive when plastic, and flowing materials harden to produce products with greater flexural and tensile strengths. The fibres are alkali resistant and are used to reduce or eliminate problems associated with drying out, shrinkage, cracking and crazing. The fibres are supplied in 1kg packs, and have an indefinite shelf life.
ROCKBOND STAINLESS STEEL FIBRES (RB SSF) are strong, inert, monofilament stainless steel fibres specially designed to improve the hardened properties of cementitious materials. Concrete, mortars, renders and floor screeds harden to produce materials that are greater in tension and have a greater resistance to shear, wear and tear, impact and abrasion. The fibres are also used to reduce or eliminate problems associated with the drying out of concrete, shrinkage, cracking and crazing. The fibres are ready to use, supplied to order and have an indefinite shelf life.
ROCKBOND CONCRETE PIGMENT POWDERS (RB CPP) are a range of carefully selected, naturally occurring mineral ores and metal oxides that have been finely ground and specially manufactured to colour Portland cementitious materials. The pigments, when mixed with cement and water, brighten up and enhance the appearance of precast concrete products and site batched mortars, renders and concretes used in building and construction. The powders are available in a range of different colours, are ready to use, are supplied to order in moisture proof, durable bags and have an indefinite shelf life.
ROCKBOND CONCRETE STIRRER (RB CS) is a heavy duty steel stirrer or paddle with a hexagonal shaft which fits fast into the chuck assembly of a power tools or drills. The stirrer, spinning greater than at 500 revs/minute, produces a high speed, high shear mixing action which cuts into concrete powder and water mixes. The mixing action is fast and efficient, and produces a quick mix at low water/cement ratios which generate products with excellent flow and early strength characteristics. The use of a Rockbond Concrete Stirrer in conjunction with a Rockbond 25 litre mixing container provides a quick, simple and convenient way to mix ROCKBOND SPECIAL CONCRETE PRODUCT (RB SCP) powders with water. The stirrer is strong and durable and has a design life greater than most stirrers particularly those manufactured from aluminium and plastic.
ROCKBOND 25 LITRE MIXING CONTAINER (RB 25LMC) is a high sided plastic vessel eminently suitable for mixing a 25kg bag of a ROCKBOND SPECIAL CONCRETE PRODUCT powder with water. The container is white, larger and taller than a bucket, and will retain and return any splashes back into the body of the mix without any loss of product. The 25 litre container is fabricated from heavy duty polyethylene (HDPE) plastic and can be reused again and again, and when used in conjunction with a ROCKBOND CONRETE STIRRER (RB CS) provides a quick, simple and convenient method to mix cementitious materials and concrete powders with water. Rockbond Mixing Containers are supplied in sizes of 5 litre, 15 litre, 20 litre and 25 litres.
