ROCKBOND SPRAYED MORTAR (RB SM) powder is a pre-mixed, ready to use, cementitious mortar powder. The compound contains an unique blend of fine cement powders, graded sands, alkali resistant fibres, acrylic polymer powders, chloride free accelerators and admixtures. The powder, when sprayed with water, produces a non slump, non shrink mortar which quickly hardens to provide a material that is strong, dense and impermeable. ROCKBOND SPRAYED CONCRETE (RB SC) contains a crushed rock aggregate and is applied to sections greater than 60mm. The powders are packaged in 25kg moisture proof, durable bags and have a shelf life of 2 years.

ROCKBOND STEEL PRIMER (RB SP) is a pre-mixed, ready to use, acrylic modified cementitious powder used to protect steel and steel reinforcing. The system contains a unique blend of fine Portland and microsilica cements, an elastomeric acrylic co-polymer resin powder and a union of compatible admixtures. The powder also contains powerful corrosion inhibitors. The compound, when mixed with water and painted onto steel reinforcing produces an elastic alkaline coating which will protect the steel against corrosion and chemical attack. The compound, when mixed with water, produces a lightweight, thixotropic, non flow, non slump, quick set, fibre reinforced, polymer modified mortar, which is easily mixed, worked and placed. The mortar is specially designed to repair soffit concrete, and to fill large volume voids. The powder is packaged in 25kg moisture proof, durable bags and has a shelf life of 5 years.

  • Portland cement based, acrylic resin modified, microsilica enhanced and fibre reinforced.
  • Can be trowelled, floated, sprayed or placed by hand.
  • The material is thixotropic: it liquefies when worked, and gels and stiffens once in place.

The compound consists of a blend of cement powders, shrinkage compensating agents, graded lightweight sand and aggregates and a combination of compatible admixtures. The powder, when mixed with water, produces a lightweight, free flowing grout, which is easily mixed, pumped and placed. The grout is specially designed to be low in weight, and to penetrate and fill small and large volume voids that require a low density material.
